Tache de lune is a story inspired by traditional Iranian tales. Tache de lune explores cultural difference, displacement, and the painful process of integrating into a new society one that demandsnd. But in the world the film portrays, values are reversed: what was once a mark of grace becomes a mark of shame. As society pressures her to hide this sign, the moon on her forehead begins to wound and scar, as if her own body is reacting to the denial of her identity. The film reveals how the same symbol can embody beauty in one culture and imperfection in another.

I am an Iranian actress who moved to France in 2022 to pursue my dream of becoming an international filmmaker. I have a deep passion for telling universal stories psychological narratives and tales that explore the shared experiences and emotions of humanity, beyond borders, cultures, or languages.
