"There’s no country more beautiful than childhood." Guillaume takes the same old road once again and turns to the past, confronting his childhood memories in the red-earth rivers of southern New Caledonia. Nothing has changed. They are still as beautiful as ever but the true beauty exists only in the innocent eyes of the child he once was.

biography

I'm a 22-year-old director from New Caledonia. I direct music videos and commercials to produce and direct my own films without funding. In 2023, at 19, I directed my first feature film with no budget and have since been working to help develop cinema in New Caledonia with local youth.
