Circe, a former actress who gained a lot of weight after a pregnancy and has been forgotten by the industry, lives a secluded life in her apartment, haunted by her past glory. When the media announces the disappearance of a young actress—the fifth in six months—something within her awakens. In a dimly lit room, Circe applies makeup to a young woman, bound and weeping.
