Damien Beauvais lives in a decaying studio apartment, surrounded by unpaid bills, expired food and quiet despair. One day, he receives a mysterious phone call inviting him to a job interview, asking for his “best smile.” Obsessed with perfecting it, Damien prepares himself, unaware of what awaits him. The interview leads him into a cold, empty building where acceptance comes instantly. In an elevator, he finally discovers the truth: a society where success demands physical sacrifice, and smiles are carved into faces forever.
