By the edge of a lake, Anaïs, a dancer facing a body that is slowly slipping away, is overwhelmed by her memories. In the silence of the forest, she manages to stand and traces a fragile movement, like a final impulse. Reality begins to crack: the present drifts into a theatre stage, where her former body still dances, carried by memory. Between what she can still do and who she once was, Anaïs comes to accept that, despite illness, the flame of dance continues to burn within her.

biography

I am Maxime Prémorvan, a filmmaker and writer. My interest in cinema grew from a desire to explore intimacy through image and sound. I create poetic narratives where the body, memory, and emotions become spaces of storytelling.
