A few minutes before entering the stage, an actress finds herself confronted with a transformation that she does not understand. Faced with its reflection, panic sets in and the border between perception and reality is blurred. Pulpa is a sensory short film that explores the pressure of the self's gaze, the relationship to the body and the injunctions related to beauty, through a fantastic and introspective approach.

My name is Hashmi Hasano, I am 18 years old and have been a director for one year. I started with music videos, a space where I explored my aesthetic obsessions. With Pulpa, I fulfill a major dream: directing a horror film, a genre I deeply love for its absolute beauty
