THE COST OF BEAUTY

In an industry where beauty becomes a social weapon, five actors confront the stereotypes and invisible rules that shape their careers. Faced with rejection, labels and silence, they refuse to disappear. Through intimate confessions and raw confrontations, each character fights to reclaim their image, their voice and their power. A collective cry emerges: resisting imposed standards and redefining what deserves to be seen.

biography

I am Michael Mahjoubi, a filmmaker, screenwriter and actor based in Luxembourg. After years in front of the camera, I turned to directing and writing to tell stories people can recognize themselves in. I explore identity, power and vulnerability through diverse, powerful characters.
